Norsk Toppfotball (NTF), Good Game and Off-Pitch have joined forces for a major investment in esports and gaming related to football and can announce that the eSerien is back and part of EA SPORTS FC™ Pro.
This commitment gives players all over the country the chance to participate and compete at the highest level in Norway, where the winner gets a place in the eChampions League group stage and the EA SPORTS FC™ Pro World Championship Play Ins.
Now EA SPORTS FC™ 24 fans throughout Norway can rejoice that the eSerien is kicking off again.
The tournament setup for the eSerien
Open Qualification
- All players have the opportunity to participate in the qualification to secure one of the 8 qualification places in the eSerien.
- Qualifying weekends: the dates for the two qualifying weekends will be announced consecutively, where a total of 8 qualified participants will advance to the eSerien.
- Age limit: the minimum age for participation is 16 years.
Tournament setup
- The eSeries will consist of 16 teams divided into 2 groups of 8 teams. The 4 best from each group will go on to the final which is played during an Offline event at the Off-Pitch Arena in Oslo.
- The eSerien will follow a 1v1 format, as will the eChampions League and EA SPORTS FC™ Pro World Championship.
Prizes
- The winner of the eSerien is rewarded with a place in the eChampions League group stage and the FC Pro World Championship Play Ins.
- Cash prizes are announced continuously.
Game Platform
- The tournament will take place on PlayStation 5.
As a major part of this initiative, the Supporter Cup will be created and linked to the clubs participating in the eSerien. More information about the Supporter Cup for the clubs will be announced.
